These rules are established to consolidate and give effect to the provisions of Section 29B of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
These rules shall be known as the "AASU Rules of Online Dispute Resolution (AASU Rules of ODR), 2025" and shall come into effect from [date].

2. Applicability
- The AASU-ODR Arbitration Rules shall apply and govern arbitration proceedings where the parties have agreed to submit their pending or future disputes to arbitration under the AASU-ODR Rules.
- These Rules shall also apply when parties have agreed to resolve disputes through ODR but haven't designated a specific platform.
- Applies when parties consent to arbitration under Section 29B of the Act and possess designated communication means.
- The AASU Rules of ODR in effect at the time the Claimant issues the notice of reference to arbitration shall govern all proceedings.
